Since Maryland began applying sales tax to all precious metals, we have worked tirelessly to push back and advocate for meaningful change. What started as a response has grown into a coordinated, statewide effort to restore fairness and promote sound money principles.

Our organization has been meeting weekly, dedicating significant time and substantial financial resources to this cause, totaling well over 1,000 man-hours invested to date. We have retained Capitol Strategies, one of the most respected lobbying firms in Maryland, to ensure our voice is effectively represented in Annapolis. We have attended coin shows across the region to engage directly with dealers and the public, built a grassroots network by collecting signatures in opposition to the tax, and met with key Maryland legislative leaders to discuss solutions. We have rallied supporters to testify at hearings for critical legislation, and collaborated with national organizations such as Citizens for Sound Money to strengthen our strategy and impact.

These efforts are gaining real momentum, but the fight is far from over. Continued advocacy, outreach, and legislative engagement require ongoing funding. With your help, we can protect our industry, support Maryland businesses, and give citizens greater freedom in how they  preserve and use their wealth. This is about more than any single business.
